Smiling Pup Policy and Price List
Pricing
Group walks during the week start at $26 but are subject to the following discount policy:
3 walks per week $26/walk + HST
4 walks per week $24/walk + HST
5 walks per week $23/walk + HST
Dog walked multiple times per day $21/walk + HST
Multiple dogs walked from a single house $21/dog/walk + HST
Weekend or evening private walk $35 + HST
These discounts will be applied based on the number of walks provided divided by the number of weeks in the billing period. Example: if 13 walks were provided in a 4 week billing period the average would be 3.25 walks per week - not enough to reach the 4 per week discount.
Statutory Holidays
If a statutory holiday falls on a day you would normally be scheduled, please reach out to reschedule your dog(s) in order to maintain your discounted rate. If we can not accommodate a rescheduling then no penalty will apply. If the statutory holiday is the only day preventing you from achieving the 5 walk per week rate, you will not be required to reschedule and will not be penalized.
Cancellations
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours notice to avoid being charged. If for any reason Smiling Pup must cancel your dog’s walk you will not be penalized when calculating the discounted rate.
Walk Length
Upon arriving in the park all group walks will be approximately 50 minutes in length, however, there are certain circumstances which may necessitate the shortening of a walk. Common reasons for the shortening of a walk include:

Extreme weather

Injury to a dog or walker

Health concerns relating to a dog or walker
This is not an exhaustive list but indicates that the safety of everyone involved is our primary concern. The length of all walks, and any reason they should be made shorter, is at the walker’s complete and absolute discretion.
